Finding the right equipment for field hockey can sometimes be a daunting task especially if you're new to the sport. If you're new to the sport, you will need the following things to get yourself started:

- Field Hockey Stick
- Field Hockey shinguards
- Mouthguard
- Turf shoes / Cleats

All of the beginner items can be found at your local play it again sports or even a Dick's Sporting Goods. There are also some great online stores that sell a variety of different sticks, shinguards, gloves, turf shoes, hockey bags etc. Most online stores wont accept returns on a new stick so be sure to do your research and ask your friends to try their sticks.
